ABOUT AVERS MACHINE AND GEAR
Avers Machine and Gear is a renowned custom gear rack, gear, and machining company committed to serving the needs of businesses worldwide. Established in 1989 as a machining company, we grew our capabilities by adding a gear company to complement our product offerings. We have a rich history and a long list of satisfied customers, from Fortune 500 corporations to local small businesses.
In 2020, we expanded through a merger with Innovative Rack, enabling us to provide a wide range of custom gear racks. In 2021, we moved Innovative’s people and equipment into our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Schiller Park, IL. Then, in 2023, we further expanded our capabilities, adding Fox Tool and Manufacturing, an aerospace company, to our portfolio. Fox Tool operates its quality system under the strict guidelines of AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 with an ITAR-compliant building in Woodstock, IL. Fox Tool is a full-service, high-precision machining company specializing in aerospace, military, semiconductor, and high-speed automation components.
Located outside of Chicago in Schiller Park and Woodstock, Illinois, our facilities collectively offer more than 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space. With over 75+ dedicated team members and a highly experienced management team, our operations are lean, efficient, and customer-focused.
OUR COMMITMENT
We invest significantly in automation and robotics to improve efficiencies and production capacity. Our manufacturing capabilities feature 75+ major CNC machining assets, including CNC turning and milling machines with 3, 4, 5, and 7-axis capabilities and 25+ pieces of ancillary manufacturing equipment.
At Avers in Schiller Park, we operate on principles of quality, reflected in our quality system certified to ISO 9001:2015. The same statement is true at Fox Tool. Their quality system adheres to the latest AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certifications, with ITAR compliance at Woodstock. To confirm our components meet the highest industry standards, we combine human expertise with technologies like Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), CNC gear inspection machines, and CNC auto vision for meticulous component inspection.
From part programming to the loading dock, our commitment is to provide gears, gear racks, and machined components that exceed expectations in functionality and longevity.
