ABOUT AVERS MACHINE AND GEAR
Avers Machine and Gear is a renowned custom gear rack, gear, and machining company committed to serving the needs of businesses worldwide. Established in 1989 as a machining and gear company, we have a rich history and a long list of satisfied customers, from Fortune 500 corporations to local small businesses.
In 2020, we expanded our offerings through a merger with Innovative Rack, enabling us to provide a wide range of custom gear racks. In 2023, we further expanded our capabilities, adding AS9100D-certified Fox Tool and Manufacturing to our portfolio. Fox Tool is a full-service, high-precision machining company specializing in aerospace and high-speed automation components.
Located outside of Chicago in Schiller Park and Woodstock, Illinois, our facilities collectively offer more than 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space. With over 75+ dedicated team members and a highly experienced management team, our operations are lean, efficient, and customer-focused.
OUR COMMITMENT
We invest significantly in automation and robotics to improve efficiencies and production capacity. Our manufacturing capabilities feature 75+ major CNC machining assets, including CNC turning and milling machines with 3, 4, 5, and 7-axis capabilities and 25+ pieces of ancillary manufacturing equipment.
At Avers, we operate on principles of quality, reflected in our ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D certifications, and ITAR compliance. To confirm our parts meet the highest industry standards, we combine human expertise with technologies like Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), gear inspection tools, and auto vision for meticulous component inspection.
